Observing the life of wild animals on safari, climbing to the top of a volcano sacred to the Maasai people, visiting tribes, a coffee ceremony on a mountainside, rafting on the rapids of the Nile, and contacts with not-so-safe people. Without avoiding painful topics, the author talks about the colonisation and decolonisation of Africa, the problems of post-colonial countries, and why you can't find books written in Swahili.
